Porte-Cochère

The Porte Cochere construction required the building of a levelled foundation at an accurate height to facilitate the installation of off-island prefabricated steel work. All embedment’s were surveyed and were specifically positioned for steel erection.

The roof of the Porte Cochère was built using an up-stand beam with hidden drainage inside the columns, through which rainwater is recycled for watering the surrounding plants. A new driveway made of carefully laid pavers completed this front entrance renovation.
